Canada 2015 - 2025: 15.8 Billion Allocated: In 2015, Canada allocated 15.8 Billion to mental health services, as of 2021, Canada had approximately 678,780 mental health, substance and addictions health care providers. Equating to about 1,721.4 providers per 100,000 population. The annual funding supporting a wide range of services – social workers, family physicians, occupational therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, community care, nurses and access to prescription drugs. 2025: Despite availability to these services, waiting lists, barriers such as cost and stigma can impede access to mental health and addicts services.

2025: Post Global Pandemic - Billions Stressed Out: In 2020 the world changed forever, with billions of people across the world experiencing great stress, fear and trauma. Post Pandemic the world is in recovery and statistics show that over 450 million people world-wide are struggling with mental health and addictions. With more than 20,000 services online globally, over 150 Million people seek help monthly with less than 10% get support. China have created over 3,000 online hospitals, offering mental health services. Stress burnout costing Canadian businesses over $200 billion a year, imagine the lost revenue across the world. With resources fragmented, costly and stigmatized, barriers and lack of accessibility, homelessness, depression, overdose and suicides have sky rocketed and are at an all-time high.
